Bank holidays
Minimum booking of 3 nights on bank holiday weekends, although we may be able to accommodate shorter bookings nearer the time.
Electricity
Electricity is available on all hard-standing pitches and limited grass pitches. Supplies have Smart Metering. Touring electric pitches are pre-loaded with electric units based on average usage. Credit can be purchased from Reception.
Deposit
This is strictly non-refundable and is 50% of the total amount. The balance must be paid in full prior to pitch occupancy.
Booking cancellation
If you wish to cancel your booking you must immediately notify us in writing.
Terms
By making a booking you agree to our terms and conditions. The balance must be paid in full prior to pitch occupancy. Bookings for bank holiday weekends must be paid in full prior to arrival.
Website & Literature Accuracy
We have taken all care to make sure our brochure and website are correct at time of going to print. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or the results of these.
Date Changes
Once there is a contract you are unable to transfer your booking to anyone else or change it, including the members of your party. However, booking can be altered for a small charge of £10.00 for administration.
Occupancy
Seasonal Pitches may only be occupied up to a maximum of 21 days in a row. The pitch must then remain vacant for at least 5 days. This rule does not apply between the 20th July and the 1st September when you may stay right through if you wish.
Family only
A season pitch is for 2 persons and strictly for caravan owners and immediate family members only. Additional persons can be added for the season at an additional cost. Caravans are not to be rented or hired and are to be used for holidays and leisure use only, not living or working.
Visitors
Visitors are by prior arrangement and must report to the site office prior to entering the site. Up to a maximum of 2 day visitors are allowed and they must vacate the site by 10.30pm. During any covid period we reserve the right to deny any additional visitors.
Transfer
Seasonal pitches are non-transferable. If you sell your caravan then your sold van must be removed from the caravan season pitch. You may not sell or give your season pitch to someone else.
Maintenance
Pitches must be kept clear between holidays to aid pitch maintenance for example, “wind breaks” etc. Undersides of caravans must be kept clear to make it easier for strimming. Please pick up rubbish etc. Strimming and mowing will be restricted to 8″ away from awnings to prevent any damage, the remaining uncut area must be maintained by the pitch occupier. The use of weed killer is prohibited.
Facilities
All visitors are asked to keep the toilet / shower facilities as clean and tidy as possible – not to leave taps running or put articles likely to cause obstructions into the basins, sinks or toilets. Please report any issues to reception.
General rubbish and waste disposal bins and located on site and we ask that that you do not litter the site. We do not allow for any disposal of unwanted equipment, appliances, tents and awnings etc. Owners will be charged a fixed disposal fee of £50 for disposal of these items. Please take these items with you from site to dispose of responsibly.
Barbecues, Fire Pits and Open Fires
BBQ’s are allowed as long as they are raised off the grass and are supervised until fully cool. We ask that the ash is properly disposed when fully cold so there is no risk of re-ignition in the nearest bin. Sorry due to the fire risk we do not allow fire-pits and open fires on the site.
Dogs
Dogs must be kept on a short leads at all times. Dog mess must be cleaned up immediately and deposited in the nearest bin. Dogs are not allowed in the campsite toilet blocks or left unattended at your caravan or at any time. We will ask you to remove your dog from the campsite if you are unable to control barking or if it gets loose continually. The washing of pets is not permitted within the toilet / shower facilities. We reserves the right to ask the owner of any dog which causes a nuisance or a threat, to remove the dog or leave without entitlement to a refund.
Children
Waungadog Farm Caravan & Camping is an Adult Only site.
Vehicles
Only one vehicle per pitch is permitted. Extra vehicles will not be accommodated on the Site without prior notification being given. Large commercial vans will be accepted by prior arrangement. Vehicles are left on the Site at your own risk and we are not responsible for loss or damage to these except where it is caused by our negligence or default or that of anyone we are responsible for.
Speed limit
Please observe the 5mph speed limit that is in place around the site. This also applies coming into and leaving the site. Watch out for other residents!!!
Power toys
Motorcycles and Scooters are not allowed to be used around the site. Petrol or battery engine scooters and quads are also not allowed. This is to reduce noise and annoyance to others.
Nuisance
The proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to the caravan park to any person, also the removal from the campsite of any person or caravan to abate a nuisance. All of the other campsites rules also apply such as no noise after 10:00pm.
Insurance
Caravan owners bring their vans on site at their own risk. By bringing your caravan on site you accept liability for accidents to yourselves and or loss of, or damage to property within the caravan park. It is your responsibility to fully insure against fire, theft and third party liability. All Caravans must have its own insurance and carry a fire extinguisher.
Arrival
Pitches are available to occupy after 11.00am on the date of arrival.
Departure
The pitch must be vacated prior to 11.00am on the day of departure. When departing from the Site, all belongings must be cleared from outside your pitch and stored within your caravan/awning. Nothing is to be left under or around caravan. All electric hook up points must be disconnected on departure.
Loss/Damage
Waungadog Caravan & Camping cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicle, tent, caravan or its contents whilst on the Site no matter how such loss or damage shall occur
Services
Waungadog Caravan & Camping cannot be held responsible for the failure of water, drainage or other mains services beyond our immediate control.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all Amenities. Please do not litter your cigarettes and dispose of carefully.
Filming and Photography
We sometimes may film or take photographs on site for promotional use. We will do all we can to ensure you are not disturbed by this. We can’t accept any responsibility or offer any financial award if you do appear in films or photographs.
Behaviour on Site
Please ensure your behaviour is appropriate and not noisy, offensive or likely to cause any harm or upset to other guests, staff or property at the site. If we feel your behaviour is illegal, offensive, disruptive or inappropriate or is disturbing other guests we will ask you to leave the site and no refund will be given.
Breach of Conditions / Rules
Waungadog Farm Caravan & Camping reserves the right to refuse any booking or to ask any person to leave the Park. Any agreed refund of any outstanding fees paid will constitute full discharge of any obligations between the parties.
Prices
All prices are subject to change so could increase or decrease. The price confirmed when you book is the final price and will not change unless you alter your booking.
Force Majeure
In the event of Force Majeure being imposed, Waungadog Farm shall not be liable for the refund of fess. The guest would be liable for any increase in price this may entail. Circumstances amounting to force majeure include any event which the owner(s) could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of your (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your stay) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage or any similar event. Such circumstances also include riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or man made disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, pandemic and all similar situations beyond our control.
